Final Fantasy 13 part 2? FinalFantasy13-2game.com, a recent domain registration by Square-Enix points that they may already have this title in the works. FinalFantasy13game.com was the original registered URL for the Final Fantasy XIII website.
The website www.finalfantasy13-2game.com was recently registered by “Corporation Service Company”, which is the same company that registered domains for Square Enix games like MindJack, Nier and Gun Loco. Making a sequel of a game in the Final Fantasy franchise would not make this a first for Square-Enix, back in 2003 S/E released Final Fantasy X-2 which carried the FF X story in a new direction.
Nerd Trek will be watching closely to see if Square-Enix really is planning a sequel to 13, or if a hard-core fan just happened to register a familiar domain name with the same service that Square-Enix happens to use.
