Mythic Minis: Archmage Path Abilities II

Mythic Minis: Archmage Path Abilities II

All right, you know the deal – 3 pages – 1 page front cover, 1 page SRD, 1 page content, let’s go!

We get 3 1st tier-abilities:

-Cackling Chorus: When using the cackle hex, spend mythic power to have familiar, cauldron, etc. emit the cackle as well, with the result delivering penalties to target creatures. Damn awesome!

-Purging Alchemy: Use Craft (alchemy) instead of Heal and faster crafting of alchemical remedies; finally, enhance conjuration (healing) spells or extracts – pretty cool for the alchemical doctor archetype – two thumbs up!

-Repeating Arcana: Use 1 point from arcane pool or mythic power to have a magus arcana be repeated in the round after its activation, extending its duration. Alternatively, spell-modifying arcana may be used freely for another spell on a following round. Nice!

Four 3rd tier abilities are in here, with battlemagic sense from Mythic Mini #34 thankfully only being referenced sans taking up space. The others are:

-Blighted Alchemy: Bonus versus spellblights; add minor spellblights to bombs, extracts etc. and add remove curse to your extracts. I *love* this ability. I adore it. I want to hug it.

-Bloodline Transfusion: Grant others temporarily the benefits of Eldritch heritage corresponding to your bloodline; benefits upgrade with tiers. Cool!

-Multimorph: Highly complex, this one allows you to switch between forms of eligible transmutation effects fluidly and even between spells; also allows for mutagen/cognatogen-switcheroos. Complex, hardcore and awesome for all shapeshifting-aficionados.

The 6th-tier ability would be Greater Blighted Alchemy, which allows you to add multiple minor spellblights and even major ones to your alchemical arsenal – surprise: I love this one as well!

Conclusion:

Editing and formatting are very good, I noticed no significant glitches. Layout adheres to Legendary Games’ 2-column full color standard and the pdf has no bookmarks, but needs none at this length.

Evocative, versatile, using a lot of cool material and breathing the spirit of mythic awesomeness without any hiccups, this mythic mini crafted by Jason Nelson is one of the coolest examples in the mythic minis-line and well worth 5 stars + seal of approval.
