Whether you are a GM or a player, Playbook offers tools for creating and managing characters and adventures for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. Trapdoor Technologies, the creator of Playbook has crammed the app full of useful and easy to use features including the ability to create game night parties, annotate adventure text, view and share maps, pass secret messages, track HP for both players and monsters and much, much more.
Trapdoor Technologies is extremely excited to announce a partnership with AAW Games which between now and 2016 will bring the entire AdventureAWeek.com Pathfinder Roleplaying Game compatible catalog to iPad on the Playbook app for easy integration into your games.
You may remember Playbook from previous incarnations such as Codename: Morningstar and DungeonScape (a companion app for 5th edition D&D). Although Trapdoor Technologies walked a winding path over the past few years, their dedication to tabletop gaming has never faltered. They are very excited to be offering the tabletop gaming community at large more content that they can experience in Playbook and are especially happy to have the highly praised and award-winning adventures which AdventureAWeek.com produces released for their app.
Given the fact that the Shattered Heart Adventure Path is just wrapping up its fourth and final installment, Trapdoor Technologies thought that would be a great place to dive in. Winner of the Pathmaster writing contest, Michael Allen’s first and second installments, The Ties that Bind and The Temple of Jewels and Mirrors, will be available for purchase in Playbook next week!
The adventures feature beautiful artwork and maps which will be available for use within Playbook. For all of the GMs out there, Shattered Heart will be the first full campaign in Playbook, which will open up content for the Campaign Module within the app for the first time.
Playbook is 100% free to download and will transform your iPad into the perfect interface to run the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments below.
