Great! We begin this massive book with an introduction and a short […]

  • Psionic Bestiary This massive bestiary clocks in at 105 pages, 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial, 1 page ToC, 1 page SRD, 1 page advertisement, leaving us with a massive 100 pages of content, so let’s take a look!   First of all – this is a massive bestiary and as such, I can’t go into the details of every creature herein without bloating it beyond belief. Additionally, I have reviewed the ongoing subscription (with the exception of ~2-3 installments, I think), so if in doubt, there are some reviews in the ether that are more detailed regarding the respective creatures. Finally, if you’re like me and have accompanied the evolution of PFRPG’s psionics, then you’ll notice that Ultimate […]

Cool!   The CR 3 Dedrakon, a scaled predator that adds crystal shackles to their prey via their attacks, which increase in movement-hampering potency the more creatures are shackled with them – oh, and they can emit roars to paralyze shackled foes on a failed save – […]

  • Book of the Faithful: Oracle Mysteries This pdf is 4 pages long, 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial/SRD, leaving us with two pages of content, so let’s take a look!   Why does this book exist? Well, author Dale McCoy Jr. considers mysteries as lenses through which the oracle should attempt to see life -and at the same time be MYSTERIOUS. Hence, we get two new ones:   First would be the Fitness-mystery, which nets a climb speed, immunity to fatigue (and later exhaustion), +2 to Str, Dex or Con that is later enhanced to +4, +10 ft. speed (and doge/mobility as bonus feats), bonuses to CMB, slow falling, minor natural AC, 1 minute per level sprout bird wings […]

It is said high level foes that are movers and shakers, that shape a  game, that can be the very goal of whole campaigns. It is said monsters that can, […]

Hell yeah!   […]

And the first spell is already uncommon to say the least: As part of the spell’s casting, the caster needs to stab him/herself with a +1 flaming dagger. This additional con-damage may not be mitigated and deals an additional point of constitution damage […]

If I have not miscounted, we get 31 new spells, several of which are supposed to be signature spells or certain legendary mages.  I really like that premise, as e.g. Bigby’s hands […]
