Monstrous Lair: Minotaur’s Den (system neutral)
Posted on February 8, 2019 | No CommentsMonstrous Lair: Minotaur’s Den (system neutral) This installment of the Monstrous Lairs-pdfs clocks in at 8 pages, 1 page front cover, 2 pages of advertisement, 1 page SRD, 1 page back cover, 1 page editorial/ToC, leaving us with 2 pages of content, so let’s take a look! Sometimes, you just need a bit of dressing for a wayside encounter – or something specific to a monster type. Finding appropriate entries can be rough, and so, this series attempts to remedy this shortcoming on 2 pages, with a total of 7 d10-tables. The approaches of a minotaur’s den, of which there are 10 provided, may sport shards of destroyed shields and faded chalk crosses, as well as hoofed tracks […] -
5E Mini-Dungeon: Pleasure Den (5e)
Posted on June 8, 2017 | No Comments5E Mini-Dungeon: Pleasure Den (5e) This pdf clocks in at 2 pages and is a mini-dungeon. This means we get 2 pages content, including a solid map and all item/monster-stats hyperlinked and thus, absent from the pdf, with only deviations from the statblocks being noted for the GM. Unlike most 5E Mini-Dungeons, this one does not come with VTT-maps or player-friendly iterations, which is a bit of a bummer. Since this product line’s goal is providing short diversions, side-quest dungeons etc., I will not expect mind-shattering revelations, massive plots or particularly smart or detailed depictions, instead tackling the line for what it is. Got that? Great! This being an adventure-review, the following contains SPOILERS. Potential players may wish […] -

Posted on February 13, 2017 | No CommentsTrail of the Apprentice III: The Thieves’ Den The third installment of the kid-friendly AP for beginning groups clocks in at 48 pages, 1 page front cover, 1 page inside of front cover, 1 page editorial, 1 page SRD, 1 page ToC, 2 pages of introduction, 1 page inside of back cover, 1 page back cover, leaving us with 39 pages. To these, however, one should add the art and map folio, which contains no less than 18 raw pages (already minus editorial/etc.) of maps, both with grid and without, provided sans key and with it – this service is amazing and the art can easily be used as handouts…so yeah, pretty damn cool. Love this. The supplemental material […] -

This means we get 2 pages content, including a solid map (alas, sans player-friendly version) and all item/monster-stats hyperlinked to d20pfsrd.com’s shop and thus, absent from the pdf, with only deviations from the statblocks being noted for the GM. Potential players may wish to jump to the conclusion. Still here? All right! This mini-dungeon does not make […] -
