  • Future’s Past V: Tomorrow’s End (SFRPG) The finale of the Future‘s Past AP clocks in at 30 pages, 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial, 1 page SRD, 1 page back cover, leaving us with 26 pages of content, so let’s take a look!   This module was moved up in my reviewing queue as a prioritized review at the request of m patreon supporters.   …to be frank, not that moving this one up would have really needed coaxing. The module is for 5th level characters, and concludes the Future’s Past AP. This is not a module you can run as a stand-alone offering without losing its impact, which is also why I’ll deviate somewhat from my usual format […]

  • World’s End This module clocks in at a massive 69 pages, 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial, slightly more than 1 page ToC, 1 page SRD, leaving us with 66 pages of content, so let’s take a look!   But before we do, I should not fail to mention that 9 pages of the module are devoted to spell, bestiary and item references – this means that you don’t need to do any book-flipping when running this module. Kudos! Better yet, we actually get fluff for the respective creatures, all written and provided for your convenience. Similarly, in the tradition of 4 Dollar Dungeons, we receive an art appendix, which contains all the art, ready to be printed out. […]

  • End of Autumn This pdf is 35 pages long, 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial, 1 page ToC, 2 pages SRD, 1 blank page, 1 page back cover, leaving us with 28 pages of content, so let’s take a look, shall we?   This being an adventure-review, the following contains SPOILERS, thus potential players are advised to jump to the conclusion.   All right, still here? The Wandering River area into which the PCs stumble makes one thing relatively clear – they’re in for trouble, as ominous mists are rising and no matter how well they fare survival-wise, they always seem to end up in the same location again. Healing magic seems to be impeded in certain areas as […]

  • This Indiegogo campaign is a “virtual bake sale,” designed to raise funds to allow a group of industry freelancers and reviewers to attend Gen Con. In addition to the original creatives supported by the initial goal, the campaign hopes to get enough money to send prolific reviewers Endzeitgeist and KTFish to the Con – a well-deserved perk for their tireless efforts to inform gamers about what’s killer vs. what’s filler (and help publishers see where their products could use some improvement). The main drive is to get out word about the $25 “PDF bundle” reward, which gives supports a collection of more than 75 PDFs from dozens of companies, with a value greater than $400!
