I’m sure you’ve noticed how some people get a cool looking image to show up next to their comments on blogs.  In some cases you may have noticed that this same image seems to follow them around the internet and again pops up every single time they post their thoughts.  Did you miss something?  Was there a place to upload a photo or image that you didn’t see?  Perhaps the people posting comments know the blog owner or know something you don’t? They do know something you don’t, they use a service called “Gravatar”.  It’s a simple and […]

  • A month or so ago I shared some hilarious auto-correct blunders with my friends on Facebook.  It ended up being so popular and shared so many times over that I thought it only fair to bring these filthy x-rated gems to your doorstep.  I poise, perched on my toes outside your technologically driven door waiting for a sign.  Oh robot, where doth thou spend thy time?  In the gutter, with an iPhone- seemingly snorting a line.  My amusement you gather as I watch you lather with suds of screen cleaner you beckon me nearer. What the hell was that?  Don’t ask me, just read these hilarious auto-correct screen shots and forget this ever happened!  😛  Enjoy! I hope you laughed […]

Have you also noticed that when you post things like status messages, photos and links, the same circle of people are commenting and everyone else seems to be ignoring you? Don’t worry, everyone still loves you and nobody has intentionally blocked you. The problem is that a large chunk of your friend/fan list can’t see anything you post and here’s why: The “New Facebook” has a newsfeed setting that by default is automatically set to show ONLY posts from people who you’ve recently interacted with or interacted the most with (which would be limited […]

It turns out my internet connection was the culprit.  I ran numerous speed tests available for free on the internet and found that my cable internet was transmitting data slower than DSL!  I immediately called Comcast who reset my modem to it’s original firmware and then removed 2 firewall settings that were blocking or slowing specific packets. Immediately after they performed this my speeds increased!  I thought I would share this information with those of […]
