  • Having discovered that I won’t be able to write about the Mass Effect 3 demo release due to a delay on the European release of the demo I decided to talk about the character that has become the second most talked about theme of Mass Effect in the past week.   Friday saw the release of the first ever official Female Commander Shepard trailer. This is after scores of fans had campaigned to Bioware, asking them to use ‘FemShep’ as she is fondly called in their marketing for the first game.   • In the new trailer from Mass Effect Crew, Bioware introduced us to some of the voice actors that we’ll be encountering in the new game. Among the old favourites returning will be Martin Sheen as the Illusive Man, against whom Shepard will be at odds during the course of the game. Sheen needs no introduction as his name speaks for himself. He is best known for his roles in the series The West Wing and the movie Apocalypse Now which earned him a nomination for a BAFTA Award for Best Actor.
