  • Lands of Porphyra Campaign Setting This massive campaign setting clocks in at 214 pages, 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial, 1 page ToC, 2 pages of SRD, leaving us with a massive 219 pages of content, so let’s take a look!   Porphyra…Purple Duck Games’ in-house setting is massive, it’s regional (and extremely crunchy) player’s guide clocking in regularly at 60+ pages…and unlike most campaign settings, this world was not crowdfunded…it just slowly, steadily, came to be…which is an impressive feat in my book. Anyways, Porphyra’s details and unique components are many and have been suffusing Purple Duck Games-supplements for years: Whether it’s the unique mini-game arabakmpsi, the lovecraft gaming toolkit or other offerings – never obtrusive, but the […]

Ye Adventurer’s Olde Favourite Dive This massive supplement clocks in at 96 pages, 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial/ToC, 1 page SRD, leaving us with 93 pages of content, so let’s take a look!   If I had a dime for every module I’ve read that begins by PCs being contacted in a party…and still. Unlike the 1st level module with goblins as foes and an ogre and/or shadow as boss and similar extremely trite and worn out clichés, there seems to be no law of diminishing returns regarding the tavern as an environment. Indeed, if anything, I know quite a few groups wherein the players have taken to spending copious amounts of gold on booze and professionals […]

This time around, Steven D. Russell Provides basically a creature that is a living execution-machine – including lethal hangman’s noose! These constructs are nasty. Nice template! […]

Because that would take AGES and bloat this review beyond the page-count where this would have any semblance of help for anyone of my readers. Beyond […]
