  • I’m taking a look at a review that took me ages to write: Oathbound Seven       Oathbound Seven is a massive tome of 496 pages, 2 pages editorial, 2 pages ToC, 1 page SRD and 1 page back cover, leaving us with an epic of 493 pages of content, so let’s check this out!   Before I go into the details of this review, I’ll tell you a bit about how I came to finally review this. Remember the 3.X days of old when just about every one cranked out supplement after supplement, book after book and the glut stared growing? Much like other people, for me, this was an age of uncontrolled spending – each visit to […]

  • Today I’ll be taking a look at the planar source book of Open Design,   Dark Roads and Golden Hells   This pdf is 111 pages long, 1 page front cover, 1 page editorial, 1 page ToC, 1 page SRD and 1 page back cover, leaving a total of 106 pages of content, so let’s take a look!   Disclaimer: I was a patron of this project, but didn’t contribute due to time-concerns.   All right cutter, I see you’re rather clueless about them’s roads, so here’s the chant: The pdf kicks off with a rather interesting treatise on the nature of planes, making the outer planes essentially a foundation spawned from the soul essence of beings, entwined with an ever-swelling tide […]

  • Take a short pause in your day to reflect on your D&D legacy, the RPG games that you used to play with friends when there were no limits on time and anything was possible.  Take a moment and share those memories with us today in the comments section below, and if you have the time read this article where I lament over the death of my youth and subsequent loss of free time. When I was a teenager in school, without a job, and spending summers with my friends we used to game like there was no tomorrow.  Our game of choice was AD&D 2nd edition and we played in all the campaign settings.  Our favorites were Forgotten Realms, Dark […]

  • I’d like to start off by giving a huge thanks to Mr. LaForce for taking his time out to do this interview . It’s not everyday that someone in my position is offered a great opportunity such as this. Having success with the first interview I conducted,I thought to myself,”why shouldn’t I do these more often?” I mean what better way to get a sense of accuracy in a good story? This particular interview however, came directly to me,I didn’t even know  if anyone else  in the industry would be interested doing another sit-down with me.  Was I ever glad to be so wrong? But enough about me,I’m certain your more interested in what the interview entails,so once again, here we go! […]
