  • Recently, I spent a LOT of time contemplating why rogues are less popular in my group than e.g. rangers and stumbled into making a mechanical analysis of the class. The results were quite enlightening and explained well why there’s a vast thread on the Paizo-boards on how they are underpowered. Fast-forward. newcomer Drop Dead Studios recently impressed me with the best take of a crafting-centric-class I’ve seen for any iteration of d20 so far as their freshman offering (The Artisan, if you don’t know) and after that, they went on to release a book originally funded via kickstarter to “fix” the rogue.   • By now you’ve probably all heard that the monthly membership cost is going up.  The price increase affects new members immediately, while existing customers will be seeing a price increase by September of 2011.  I know, I know, it IS a huge bummer to lose out on a few extra bucks a month, it adds up!  Should we be grandfathered in?  I think so.  Netflix disagrees with me.  I’m the kinda of guy that sees a glass with water in it, and I’ll try be thankful that I have water, as opposed to focusing on how empty the glass is, but it’s tough to swallow another hit to the pocket book… Hopefully this helps… New to Netflix Instant Streaming:   […]
