  • My wife and I have been hopping around from country to country within the past few months (which is why I am mostly to blame for not posting more thoughts to you out there).  During one of our stops I was required to scan my fingerprints in order to verify my identity.  While this may set some people fuming as they mistakenly believe they are important enough to be constantly watched, on the contrary, this set my futurist mind racing with one great question: why can’t biometrics (personal identification through fingerprints, retinal scans, etc.) be used instead of all the crap I am required to keep in my wallet and pockets?  Frankly, I hate having to lug around what feels […]

Biometrics: The Means To Do Away with Useless Crap

  • Consider the old saying that perception is 9/10th of reality.  I was never a fan of this saying since it can be such an easy outlet to take everything at face value rather than to seek the truth.  Instead, let us consider that perception is but 1/10th of reality. It is important to note that early Greek philosophers made the common mistake of basing their reality on their often flawed sense perception since they lacked sophisticated scientific equipment capable of measuring and calculating the world around us.  In fact, it was not until thousands of years later that humankind could more accurately calculate and determine atomic structure with microscopes while advanced telescopes were used to ascertain cosmic distance, to name […]

  • Five years ago, Dr. Victor Klimov at Los Alamos National Laboratory produced a permanent solution to the world’s energy crisis.  This work is printed in leading physics journals of the world and was validated by two US National Labs: LANL and NREL.  It is scientific fact so look it up before you disrespect in the comments below. Nanocrystalline power is what we’re talking about here folks.  The solution to the world’s energy crisis lies in tiny nanoycrystalline solar cells which can absorb the light of a specific wave length in such a way that one photon input to a solar cell can energize more than one output electron.  When the output electron absorbs a photon, it disappears for a short […]
